In this digital world, where children are increasingly wired to social media and the internet, the concerns of cyber security, cyber bullying, cyber hygiene are pertinent. Parents too need to be well-informed of what steps they can take to keep their children safe. With this notion, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Gajjumajra , hosted an interactive session under the Guidance of W/School Principal and Umang Welfare Foundation President Arvinder Singh, Program Coordinator Dr. Gaganpreet Kaur and Other Umang Team members presided the Seminar. The students were introduced to various terminologies by Cyber expert of our team Anurag Acharya like Cyber Bullying, Hacking, Fishing, Cloning, Data Theft, Digital Frauds and Grooming. Several case studies were also shared with the students, and they were further sanitized towards privacy and security of data. He concluded the session by sharing some tips for internet banking and safe online transactions. He also shared the website for reporting Cyber Crimes. Honorable Umang Finance Sectary Mr.Yogesh Pathak Concluded the seminar by saying that an internet is a technology, not a toy so we should harness it carefully.
