In this digital world, where children are increasingly wired to social media and the internet, the concerns of cyber security, cyber bullying, cyber hygiene are pertinents. Parents too need to be well-informed of what steps they can take to keep their children safe. With this notion, Govt. Sen Sec. School, Lachkani, Patiala hosted an interactive session under the Guidance of W/School Principal Mam and Administration Staff. President Umang Welfare Foundation Arvinder Singh, Program Coordinator Dr. Gaganpreet Kaur, and other Team members, have guided the students about various terminologies like Cyber Bullying, Hacking, Fishing, Cloning, Data Theft, Digital Frauds and Grooming.In this session approximate 300 Students were educated by Senior Vice President Anurag Acharya (a cyber security expert) regarding the safe use of technology awareness about cyber security. Several case studies were also shared with the students and they were further sanitized towards privacy and security of data. He concluded the session by sharing some tips for internet banking and safe online transactions
